      "question": "What is an AI lead-generation page?",
      "answer": "An AI-discovery page explains a business's identity, actual services, service area, expertise and next step so people and AI-assisted search can understand it. The goal is to become a useful source for relevant answers, not merely another directory listing. Consistent entity details, credible authority signals and crawlable architecture support discovery; they do not guarantee a recommendation."
    },
    {
      "question": "What is GEO or AEO?",
      "answer": "SEO helps search engines discover and understand pages. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) makes direct answers to real customer questions clear. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) organizes accurate, useful information for AI-assisted discovery. Together they connect a clear business entity, credible expertise and location-specific content with accessible page resources."
    },
    {
      "question": "Does an industry listed on this site mean an IMS member is available in my city?",
      "answer": "No. The catalog includes 796 directory-research labels plus the site-added Bed & Breakfast topic, for 797 industry topics. Bed & Breakfast is not attributed to the directory scan. A topic page does not verify a local property or provider, room availability, breakfast arrangements or a booking. Confirm those details directly with the property or provider."
    },
    {
      "question": "Do I need IMS membership to use this service?",
      "answer": "No. Leads for you is open to all businesses. Pay $249.00 cash per page per month, or, if you are an IMS member, optionally apply up to 150 IMS bucks monthly and pay the remainder in cash. IMS is a payment option and a source of directory research, not an eligibility requirement or the owner of this independent service."
    },
    {
      "question": "Which locations are covered?",
      "answer": "The business-page service is open to all businesses in the U.S. where a city and industry page is made available, whether or not they belong to IMS. The current public research index includes Columbus and 35 nearby Ohio communities linked from the IMS Columbus page; it is not a national availability map. Sign in to the marketplace to check open pages as more places are added. A malformed duplicate Grove City link from that source is omitted."

    {
      "question": "How do business pages work?",
      "answer": "The program pairs one location with one industry for a business-controlled lead-generation page. It is open to all businesses; IMS membership is not required. Monthly subscription starts at $249.00 cash. IMS members may optionally choose 0–150 IMS bucks per month, reducing monthly cash dollar-for-dollar: 100 IMS leaves $149.00 cash; 150 IMS leaves $99.00 cash. Both portions recur monthly. The request modal saves the selected monthly quote without collecting card details, charging or assigning ownership; card payment is not connected. Admin must verify the cash receipt and any positive IMS trade obligation before confirming ownership. Automatic IMS transfers, recurring charges and email notifications are not configured. Page owners manage assigned pages and inquiries in the portal. The main blog combines all published articles, newest first."
    },
    {
      "question": "Where can I find field-page resource files?",
      "answer": "For example, /pages/alexandria-oh/accommodations has structured data at /pages/alexandria-oh/accommodations/schema.json, page facts at /pages/alexandria-oh/accommodations.json, and an AI summary at /pages/alexandria-oh/accommodations/llms.txt. These same URL suffixes apply to every configured field page."
    },
    {
      "question": "Are articles published on field pages?",
      "answer": "The main /blog lists published main-site and field-page articles together, newest first, with category and source filters. /api/public/blog supplies the live feed. /pages/sitemap.xml covers field pages and their articles; /blog/articles/sitemap.xml covers main-site articles and resources, and /sitemap.xml links their URL-set shards."
    },
    {
      "question": "Which AI assistants is this designed to help people find me through?",
      "answer": "We prepare business information for AI-assisted and voice discovery, including ChatGPT by OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Siri and Alexa. These are examples of discovery surfaces, not connected integrations, partners or guaranteed placements. Each platform chooses its own sources; voice answers also vary by device, region and question."
    },
    {
      "question": "How many people are using AI?",
      "answer": "OpenAI reported more than 900 million weekly active ChatGPT users on February 27, 2026. Pew Research Center's June 17, 2026 report found that 44% of U.S. adults say they ever use ChatGPT, from a February 17–23, 2026 survey. These are dated figures with different populations and timeframes, not a combined audience, live counts or measurements of local service searches."
    },
    {
      "question": "What does building a business entity mean?",
      "answer": "Make it unambiguous who the business is: consistent business name, website, actual services, real service area, contact details and relationships. Matching visible information and structured data helps people and systems connect those facts without confusing the business with another entity."
    },
    {
      "question": "How do you build authority for AI discovery?",
      "answer": "Publish useful first-hand expertise, accurate service explanations, sourced local context and legitimate evidence such as real qualifications or work examples supplied by the business. Keep facts current and answer customer questions clearly. Do not invent reviews, credentials or outcomes. Authority is earned through credible information, not created by a file or a claimed platform score."
    },
    {
      "question": "How do AI-readable files and architecture help?",
      "answer": "Each configured location × industry guide has five FAQs and five answer nuggets mirrored in its page-specific JSON, JSON-LD schema, GEO summary and LLMs resources. Internal links, bounded resource directories and hierarchical sitemaps help expose the relevant pages without oversized root files. llms.txt is an emerging optional convention, not a universal requirement. Google says its AI Search features require normal search eligibility, not special AI files. No file forces indexing, model training, citations or recommendations."
